We do not run any analytics or tracking product — there is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no PostHog, and no advertising or third-party tracking cookie on this site. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in and remember your preferences.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our AI detection services, communicate with you about your account, and ensure platform security. Content submitted for analysis is processed in real-time and not permanently stored unless you save it to your history.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who assist in operating our platform, and when required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your analysis history from the app at any time, and delete individual reports or clear your whole history yourself. Closing your account is not yet self-serve: email privacy@sighting.ai from your account address and we will delete the account and everything attached to it. Same address for any GDPR or CCPA request.

We use essential cookies only: the ones that keep you signed in and remember your preferences. There are no optional cookies, no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies, which is why this site shows you no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though signing in will not work without them.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our platform.
