By accessing or using Sighting.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Sighting.ai provides AI content detection services that analyze text, images, documents, and code for AI-generated content. Results are probabilistic assessments and should not be used as the sole basis for consequential decisions.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the service for illegal purposes; (b) attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures; (c) reverse engineer the detection algorithms; (d) submit content that violates third-party rights; (e) use the service to harass or discriminate against individuals.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you submit for analysis. We do not claim ownership of your content. Our platform, algorithms, and branding are our intellectual property.

6. Limitation of Liability

Sighting.ai provides detection results on an "as-is" basis. We are not liable for decisions made based on our analysis results. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

7. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits defined by your plan. Automated usage must comply with our API terms. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access for abuse.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
